Intimate image removal

DRAFT - pending attorney review. This page is a working draft and is not yet final legal terms.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

If an intimate image or video of you (real or computer-made, including "deepfakes") was posted on Black & Gold Dispatch without your consent, we will remove it. Under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act, we remove such images within 48 hours of a valid request and make reasonable efforts to remove known copies.

How to ask for removal

  1. Fastest: if you have an account, tap Report on the post and choose "Intimate image shared without consent (TAKE IT DOWN Act)". The post is hidden at once while we check.
  2. No account needed: use the Contact form with the topic "Intimate image removal", or email [email protected].

What to include

Please do not attach the image itself. We don't need it, and you shouldn't have to send it again.

What happens next

We confirm we got your request, remove the image and any copies we can find within 48 hours, and may suspend the account that posted it. We keep your request private. We don't charge for this.

If the image shows someone under 18

Report it the same way and choose "Illegal content". We remove it immediately, preserve it as the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). You can also report directly at report.cybertip.org. NCMEC's Take It Down service can help remove images of minors from other sites too.

Right now Black & Gold Dispatch doesn't accept picture uploads (profile pictures are presets only), so this mostly applies to links posted in the forum. See also our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
